Chilled before whole bunch-pressing, 50% MLF, matured for 12 months in French barriques (50% new, 50% second use). Gleaming yellow-green hue, grapefruit, apple and white peach drive the very expressive and complex palate. A rare chance to see a nine-year-old chardonnay.

From disaster to rebuilding

RECOVERING FROM THE CUDLEE CREEK BUSHFIRE

We – like so many Australians – will remember the summer of 2019-20 for its devastating bushfires. Our vineyard was badly damaged by a fire that began near Cudlee Creek on 20 December 2019. Today we can see many signs of progress. While much of the property’s native bushland and about 40 per cent of its vines continue to recover, this treasured pocket of the Adelaide Hills has kept all its magic.
