We are delighted our 2013 chardonnay was included in James Halliday’s Top 100 wines for 2022 released on November 19.
The review is below. It is a high honour to be included. Only 70 of Australia’s 2500-plus wineries are chosen and it really represents the best of the best.
For a chardonnay of nine years of age to be included is testament to the quality and ageability of our wines. Last year as six-year-old sauvignon our 2015 Ferus was also part of the Top 100. I have always believed it is the quality of mature wines that truly shows the excellence of a vineyard. These wines stand proudly in comparison with any.
